International Affiliates
APHA relies on its international clubs and affiliates to help provide opportunities for Paint Horses and people who love them worldwide.
These organizations help support the American Paint Horse Association and promote the Paint Horse in localized areas (states, provinces, countries). They provide opportunities for likeminded enthusiasts to convene and celebrate the Paint Horse through various activities, like competitions, clinics, trail rides and more.
The international clubs listed below are a great resources to explore opportunities for Paint Horses in your area; these groups can tell you about upcoming shows and events, and also answer questions you have about APHA or submitting work like registrations and transfers. A few select international studbooks are also approved by APHA to help streamline the registration process in specific countries.

A successful event requires a knowledgeable, organized show manager and secretary to keep the event running smoothly. Any APHA member in good standing who is familiar with APHA rules and has the ability and experience can fill those roles. The following individuals have attended one of APHA’s Show Management Seminars and successfully completed the coursework. This certification is not required for international events in Zones 12, 13 and 14, but we encourage completion of the course and use of these certified managers for your event.
