World Show Scholarships: Investing in Youth in the Arena - APHA: American Paint Horse Association

World Show Scholarships

Since 2013, the American Paint Horse Foundation has helped provide scholarship awards to Youth competing at the APHA World Championship Show. The initiative was launched thanks to a group of halter industry supporters who generated the first funds for Youth halter class exhibitors. The idea expanded, and in 2015, the AjPHA Youth World Championship Show became an all-scholarship show—the first of its kind in the horse industry. Every Youth World Championship class at the APHA World Show awards scholarship funds to the top three exhibitors and one randomly selected exhibitor from the class.

Request Funds

APHF keeps track of all scholarship funds earned by Youth exhibitors. Some put their scholarship funds to use right away; others have years to collect their college funding. Either way, these funds reward Youth—and their families—for investing in Paint Horses and the intrinsic benefits that come along with a life shared with horses.
