American Paint Horse Foundation

The American Paint Horse Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization under section 501(c)(3). The primary goals of the APHF are to support youth development through education and scholarships, preserve the rich history of the American Paint Horse and the Western lifestyle, and promote the healing power of horses to foster powerful connections between humans and horses.

• To support youth development through education and scholarships. We believe in empowering the next generation, providing young minds with the tools they need to succeed and become stewards of the heritage we hold dear.

Heritage

• To identify those people and horses whose contributions have significantly contributed to the success of APHA, honor their impact and preserve their legacies.
• To preserve the rich history of the American Paint Horse and the Western lifestyle. Our work ensures that the stories, traditions and beauty of these magnificent horses continue to inspire and enchant for generations to come.

Lasting Legacy Campaign

APHA is located in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas, and that prime real estate puts the Paint Horse in front of millions of visitors annually. The Lasting Legacy Campaign helps preserve and expand APHA’s presence. Learn more about ways you can help support our missions.

Scholarships

We empower Youth through both academic scholarships and competition-based scholarships awarded annually at the APHA World Championship Show. APHF collects, maintains and distributes these scholarship funds to APHA Youth. Join our mission and pledge your support.

Hall of Fame

The APHA Hall of Fame honors the people and Paint Horses who have made a lasting impact on the association and breed. Nominations are accepted annually, and the APHA Hall of Fame nominating committee makes recommendations for new inductees each year. Inductees are honored at our annual Hall of Fame & Awards Banquet.
