Judges Evaluations

The Judges Committee uses evaluations submitted by exhibitors and show managers when reviewing judges’ performance. Regular status judges are continually reviewed. All positive and negative comments are welcome, and all comments will be kept confidential.

Formal Complaints

To make a formal complaint against an APHA-approved judge, submit your grievance to APHA in writing; it must be signed by the complainant, contain alleged rule violations, date and location of the event and be received within 60 days of the show or contest. If a grievance is filed, APHA uses procedures outlined in the disciplinary procedures (see rules GR-070.A-O. of the APHA Rule Book, which is available online).
