Want to be a horse-show judge?
Desire to know what the judges are looking for in the show ring?
The Color Breed Council (CBC) International Equine Judges Academy is your solution.
The CBC is proud to announce the dates for their next Judges Academy, January 27 – 29, 2017,
at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Prospective and current judges, as well as collegiate judging teams and exhibitors from all disciplines in the equine industry, are invited to attend.
Seminars will cover a wide array of classes, including performance and halter classes for stock, pleasure and saddle type horses, as well as ponies and miniatures.
“The Color Breed Council is extremely excited to offer this opportunity for judges of all expertise levels to either increase or develop their judging knowledge,” said Joe Grissom, CBC coordinator. “In addition to the International Equine Judges Seminar, the academy provides another avenue to make sure our industry judges are prepared and trained to be their very best in the show ring!”
Registration fees vary depending upon the seminars attended and whether you are a current judge or a student.
The Color Breed Council is comprised of officers representing various color breed equine associations (including the American Paint Horse Association). The council’s primary function is hosting the annual International Equine Judges Seminar to train and qualify industry judges. Learn more at colorbreedcouncil.com.
