Use the “Officer Update“ submission form for reporting your club officers to APHA by the deadline of January 1, 2018. Even if your club has not held elections by that date you will need to submit your 2017 Officers and the date of your election. Receipt of the requirements to maintain your club charter is necessary to be considered for Gold Star Club or Clubs of Distinction awards for 2018.

Our Move to the Stockyards
In this section of LeaderCare, we will be updating you weekly on what is going on with our relocation to the Stockyards Historic District.
Most Stockyard’s visitors do not realize a river runs through it, well, actually a creek. Marine Creek, a small tributary of the Trinity River, runs under Exchange Street and eventually northwest where it empties into Marine Creek Reservoir. It actually has a lovely park—Saunders Park—around it, named after the Thomas B. Saunders family who migrated to Texas in 1850 and became involved in the Texas cattle industry. The back door of the new APHA headquarters office will open into Saunders Park and its riverwalk that features staircases, winding walkways, rock walls, tunnels and waterfalls. We envision many a future APHA gathering held outside in this gem of a shady river park.
