2017 Marked for Greatness Leadership Exchange
APHA announces the formation of video meetings for leaders of APHA. Directors, Alternates and Regional Club officers will be invited to participate in a series of meetings that will provide leadership skills and knowledge of association matters to help interact with members of APHA.
When: May 16, 2017 – 7:00 p.m. CST.
Topic: Governance as applied to duties of the Leaders of APHA
This session will be open to all leaders of APHA. You will be sent a link to the email address you are receiving this newsletter, the day before the video conference. Join from a PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or Android device. If you plan on attending please click this link and enter “attending” and send.
If you’re looking for a show in your area, this link will provide you with Regional Clubs and their 2017 Officers. The club’s web site address is also located here along with email addresses and phone numbers of those who can answer your questions.
If your club is not on the list, APHA still needs your officers, membership list and financial report. Deadline for receipt of this information has passed. If you want to advertise your club shows and events you’ll need to get updated information to APHA asap!

APHA Past President Gregg Reisinger receives NPLC’s Distinguished Service Award
Gregg Reisinger will be honored at the NPLC annual meeting in the Fort Worth Stockyards on May 2nd. The National Pedigreed Livestock Council is recognizing Gregg as an outstanding equine breeder. Congratulations to Gregg on this award!
APHA welcomes a new member to our staff
Please welcome Matt Arias to APHA. Matt will be the new Director of Breeders’ Trust and Breeders’ Futurity taking over as current staff member Candy Jebavy retires. Matt interned for APHA in the performance department in the summer of 2013, he graduated from Cazenovia College (in NY), then worked for Weather Beeta in sales/customer service till he joined APHA. Matt brings with him an equine background and has shown AQHA. Welcome Matt!
