Don’t forget to vote for your area’s National Directors. Voting will end October 15, 2016 at midnight.
The APHA Director Election is coming to a close. This is your chance to make one last push to vote and to get APHA members to vote. The voting is very close and we need to get those last minute voters to exercise their member benefit and vote. If you or any member has not voted, please send your member ID# to tbrown@apha.com to request a ballot.
The elections ends October 15, 2016 at midnight. The APHA Rule Book requires that results are announced on December 1st. The audit of the election will occur immediately after the election ends and results with be forthcoming at that time.
2016 Rule Change Proposals timeline
August 1st – Postmark Deadline for all rule change proposals.
August 30th – Staff deadline for processing, reviewing and adding staff and financial impact comments.
October 8th – Rules Committee meeting in Fort Worth, Texas to review all proposals for proper and legal wording.
October 21st – Rule Change Proposals will be uploaded to APHA web site for review by members. Rule change proposals will be assigned to a standing committee for further review for convention voting.
February 2017 – all rule change proposals will be mailed to standing committees with their committee agenda
February 24-27, 2017 – APHA Convention where members will discuss rule change proposals for forwarding to the Board of Directors for voting.
