World Show Advisory Committee

Chair – Lyn Fick
Lyn began her APHA journey in 2007 and became a Pennsylvania National Director in 2008. Through the years, she has served on the Youth, Show and Contest and EC Nominating Committees as well as numerous sub-committees. She currently serves as the Chair of the World Show Advisory Committee and a member of the Rules Committee.
Before retiring, Lyn was a project manager for Aetna Health Plans and was also a teacher at St Patrick’s School in Kennett Square. She owned and operated Grassy Hill Performance Horses with her daughter Erin for 10 years. Her family has bred, owned and exhibited APHA World, Top 20 and Honor Roll Champions. Prior to being welcomed into the APHA family, Lyn showed AQHA, as an amateur and professional with Congress and World placings, and was the 1979 AQHA Amateur High-Point in Western Horsemanship.
She is a past president and current chairman of the Pennsylvania Paint Horse Club and previously served for 10 years on the Zone 7 committee. She still actively manages APHA and AQHA shows for several regional clubs in the Northeast.
She and her husband Joe are blessed with three wonderful children and two grandchildren. She counts APHA as her second family. She is thankful for the wonderful people she has met through APHA involvement and is proud to be part of such an outstanding organization
Vice Chair – Tim Snapp
Tim has been an APHA breeder, owner and showman since 1985. He and his wife Cindy have shown many world and reserve world champions in their 35-plus years with APHA. They currently have eight horses and are showing their 3-year-old You Look Good in Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure events.
He is currently the Ohio Paint Horse Club vice president and show chair for both of their PORs. In addition to these trusted state duties, he currently serves as an APHA State Director and as Vice-Chair of the World Show Committee. He has previously served on the APHA Amateur and EC Nominating Committees.
Tim has been in the printing and marketing fields since 1990. He graduated from Ohio Northern University with degrees in marketing and management. Since 1999, he has been an ESOP owner with American Solutions for Business and is currently one of the company’s top producers from his sales hub in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
He resides with his wife and son on their 225-acre farm. They enjoy spending time together as a family, whether on vacation, traveling to horse shows or just relaxing poolside in their backyard. Tim loves going to church and being a member of the Bellefontaine Rotary Club and also serving as a board member to his beloved fraternity at ONU.
