Four earn APHA judges card in 2025
Four individuals successfully earned their APHA judging card this May. APHA is proud to recognize Shannon Curl-Holbin, Mackenzie Fallis, Mason Lyon and Katie Roxburgh, and we welcome them into the APHA judging ranks.
Each year, judge applicants undergo a rigorous selection process, including pre-approval to test at the APHA Judge’s Exam that takes place each May. The exam process consists of a written rulebook test, video penalty clip test, video judging, live judging and applicant interviews with the APHA Judge Advisory Committee. This comprehensive evaluation ensures that only the most qualified individuals earn the privilege of judging APHA-approved events.
“I am very excited about this group of young judges,” APHA Director of Judges & Professional Horsemen Sandy Jirkovsky said. “They all come from horse backgrounds and and have experience in all areas of showing. They will be welcome additions to our APHA judges list!”
