Submit APHA Hall of Fame nominations by Dec. 1

Help honor the great change makers of the Paint Horse industry by nominating them to the APHA Hall of Fame! The deadline for submitting new individual or horse nominations is December 1, 2016.
Introduced in 2012, the Hall of Fame carries on the tradition of commemorating the breed’s colorful history with each class of legendary horses and horsemen. Individuals wishing to nominate an individual or horse to be considered for a future Hall of Fame class must submit an information form. General information on the Hall of Fame nomination process is available on the APHF website. Each form—both online and PDF—lists the criteria for each nomination.
Nominations remain active for five years, after which a candidate must be renominated. If you nominated a candidate in 2011 or 2012, you must now fill out a new nomination form on that candidate. If you need to determine whether or not your candidate needs to be renominated, contact Laura Jesberg by email or phone (817) 222-6412.

The 2016 Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place February 26, 2017, during the APHA Convention in Irving, Texas; watch for the February issue of the Paint Horse Journal for a preview of the honorees. The 2017 HOF class will be announced in July 2017.
