Stars & Stripes Summer Spectacular returns to the Youth World Show

Equestrians with disabilities will take the stage at the Stars & Stripes Summer Spectacular June 27 in Fort Worth, Texas. APHA and the Appaloosa Horse Club are joining forces again to offer this special opportunity for challenged riders to take the stage during the 2017 AjPHA Youth World Championship Show and World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show.

The event is open to all breeds of horses, and awards in each class include a champion buckle and jacket, reserve champion buckle and ribbons for the Top 10 exhibitors. Select classes are dual-approved by APHA, ApHC and the National Snaffle Bit Association; exhibitors showing registered Paint Horses can qualify for awesome year-end awards through APHA’s CHAMPS program.

Entries are due June 2. The show requires a $25/exhibitor entry fee for ApHC or APHA members or $50/exhibitor fee for those who are not a member of ApHC or APHA. Fees include stalls for exhibitors only entered in the Stars & Stripes event. This fee entitles the exhibitor to enter all classes for which the exhibitor is eligible and qualified to participate.

The 2017 AjPHA Youth World Show features more than $165,000 in scholarship money awarded to exhibitors, and no qualification is required. Learn more about the Youth World Show at apha.com/ywcs.
