Paint Horse Journal welcomes four new members to the PHJ Pro Team

The Paint Horse Journal is excited to welcome RJ King, Sara Simons, Wade Parks and Carly Veldman Parks to the PHJ Pro Team. The PHJ Pro Team features professionals who are experts in a variety of disciplines and pass along their knowledge to guide clients to the winners’ circle.

Wade Parks and Carly Veldman Parks of Sabina, Ohio, have taken the Paint world by storm throughout their careers. Carly enjoyed much success in the Youth and Amateur divisions before attending the University of Georgia. Wade attended Middle Tennessee State University before starting his professional career working under Ty and Karen Hornick. After graduating with a degree in agricultural business, Carly coached the University of Georgia varsity equestrian team before joining forces with Wade to create Parks Show Horses. Since then, they have amassed numerous world and reserve world championships won by both themselves and their clients.

Sara Simons and RJ King of Pilot Point, Texas, have proven the sky’s the limit when you put in hard work and preparation. Sara grew up in the APHA family, beginning her career as a highly successful Youth competitor and growing through the divisions before attending the University of North Texas, where she graduated with a political science degree. RJ grew up showing Appaloosas and Quarter Horses, and he began showing Paints shortly after being introduced to the breed by Sara in 2008. Together, Sara and RJ have continued to grow the legacy of excellence cultivated by Simons Show Horses since its establishment in 1977.

The Paint Horse Journal Pro Team is sponsored by Olathe Boot Company, Horseware Ireland, Kimes Ranch Jeans and Noble Outfitters; learn more about the entire PHJ Pro Team and its sponsors online at apha.com/phj/phj-pro-team.
