Communicate effectively and become clinician certified with APHA’s C3 seminar

APHA’s popular C3 “Creating Confident Clinicians” seminar will take place December 15–16, hosted at the APHA headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas. The seminar will share teaching techniques used by professionals around the world, along with hands-on instruction.

Andy Mangum, PhD, adjunct speech instructor at Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch, Texas, will focus on the fundamentals of teaching a clinic from a beginner’s perspective on December 15; APHA Director of Judges Dave Dellin takes the reins December 16 to discuss the specifics of core APHA classes.

“This seminar is one of a kind. It is a custom-tailored seminar from a brilliant teacher of public speaking,” Dave said. “It helps any and all who attend to become better clinicians and communicate more effectively with others.”

All APHA-approved judges and Markel APHA Professional Horsemen are invited to attend this free informational seminar. At its conclusion, all graduates will be certified as APHA clinicians.

The title “APHA clinician” allows these Paint Horse professionals to better serve current and future members of our organization. The C3 seminar also counts toward Markel APHA Professional Horsemen continuing education requirements.

To register, please send in the RSVP form by November 20.
