Chrome wins fourth consecutive Best Association Publication title

For the fourth year in a row, Chrome—APHA’s premier Western lifestyle magazine—was named the top association publication by the Livestock Publications Council in their 2018 media awards contest.

“A category with a winner … and then the rest,” LPC judges wrote. “All of the entries are good quality magazines with good artwork, photos and design. However, the winner in this category is just far and away the front runner. We even tried to punch holes in it and really couldn’t. Would recommend that everyone picks up a copy and takes some tips from it. A few of the entries, while were good, just didn’t have the zest that is needed to win this category.”
Chrome previously won this award in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Chrome is about celebrating the unique lifestyle that comes with loving Paints and telling the stories of the fascinating people who make up our APHA family,” APHA Director of Publications Jessica Hein said. “We are beyond proud to do so via a magazine that is both beautiful to view and interesting to read; continually receiving recognition from the broader livestock industry for our work is truly rewarding.”

Chrome is distributed to all current APHA members—to get Chrome, join APHA or renew your membership today. The Fall 2018 issue recently hit mailboxes and features passionate Paint lovers chasing their dreams on the silver screen, on the range, in the city and beyond.
