APHA announces alliance partnership with Stock Horse of Texas

As part of the American Paint Horse Association’s mission to support the ranch and stock horse market and expand its presence therein, the association has partnered with Stock Horse of Texas to provide mutually beneficial opportunities to members of both groups.

As the leader in the stock horse industry, SHTX is the oldest versatile stock horse association in the country and offers competitions in reining, working cow horse, stock horse pleasure and stock horse trail, with multiple divisions in each discipline.

The partnership is a natural fit for APHA. The association has greatly expanded its ranch horse classes in recent years and is hosting the premier of the Ranch Work Championship sponsored by Classic Equine on July 7 in Fort Worth.

“We are very excited about this opportunity to partner with Stock Horse of Texas,” APHA Senior Director of Judges, Shows and Education David Dellin said. “The ranch horse competitions are some of the most popular and fastest growing segments of APHA. We look forward to what we can do for the industry as we work together with our alliance partners.”
