APHA Affiliate Partner NRHA to host Sliders Night Out at NRHA Futurity

APHA has renewed its Affiliate Partnership with the National Reining Horse Association to showcase Paint exhibitors that spin and slide. NRHA is dedicated to promoting and advancing the development and public interest in the sport of reining worldwide. Through the partnership, APHA and NRHA will continue to further the sport of reining within the Paint Horse breed.

“NRHA is proud to be an official alliance partner with APHA. Throughout the years of NRHA’s history there have been many outstanding Paint Horses who have been extremely competitive and successful in the sport of reining, so it only made sense for the two associations to continue to partner together,” NRHA’s Manager of Marketing & Outreach Hayley Eberle said. “Both associations have so much to offer to each other, and being united in promoting amazing equine athletes and the love of the horse can only help strengthen the industry.”

NRHA’s nonprofit arm, the Reining Horse Foundation, will host a leading social event of the NRHA Futurity & Adequan North American Affiliate Championship Show, Sliders’ Night Out. This event takes place November 29 at the Oklahoma State Fair Park Pavilion and is open to the public for a night of food, fun, and dancing.

Sliders’ Night Out encourages the reining community to come together and celebrate, while also providing for a great cause: proceeds benefit the Reining Foundation and its core programs, such as scholarships, the NRHA Hall of Fame and Crisis Fund.

“Sliders’ Night Out is a great way to celebrate the reining community,” Reining Horse Foundation Executive Director Leslie Baker said. “We look forward to sharing some things happening with foundation programs and having a great evening of fun. Everyone at the futurity is invited. Likewise, everyone can make a difference by getting involved with the foundation.”

The event  is free to the public, but VIP packages are available that include dinner, premium seating and other amenities. VIP tables begin at $1,250 for two; four-person, eight-person and larger options are available.
