A new face was added to APHA’s top leadership on February 27 at APHA Convention in Irving, Texas. APHA’s national directors elected Alison Umberger of Broad Run, Virginia, to join the ranks of the Executive Committee.
“There’s no doubt that we all love our beautiful Paint Horses,” Alison said. “But in the end, I believe it’s about the connections and the memories that we make along the way that fuel our passion for APHA.”
Following some modifications in early March, the 2017 APHA Committee stands as follows:
Acting President—Dr. Craig Wood, Owenton, Kentucky
President Elect—Mike Short, Shiner, Texas
Vice President—Casey West, Abilene, Kansas
Senior Committee Member—Karen Thomas, Morganton, North Carolina
Fifth Committee Member—Alison Umberger, Broad Run, Virginia
Sixth Committee Member—Dr. Travis Titlow, Lincoln, California
Immediate Past President—Susie Shaw, Parsons, Tennessee
